exports—notably cashew nuts, rice, mango seedlings, and beer—to the U.S. market, home to over 600,000 Cambodians,
with California hosting the largest community.
He announced plans to increase participation in the 2025 Cambodian Trade Fair in the U.S. to 500 businesses,
with diverse product offerings, and highlighted a 2025 trade mission focused on establishing a steel factory for
export and other ventures.
Delegates exchanged insights on collaboration across sectors including technology, agro-industry, healthcare,
and education.
Oknha Ly Hour reaffirmed the association’s commitment to fostering partnerships, promoting trade, and facilitating
economic growth.
The meeting followed a recent mission led by H.E. Sun Chanthol to the U.S. and Canada (September 22–October 2, 2024)
to boost trade and investment ties.
